Sam, we must be traveling on the same wavelength because I listened to Audioslave last week when I mowed the lawn and I've watched a ton of Miami Vice episodes on Pluto lately. I feel the same about Public Enemies too. I also think Ruffalo's detective Fanning in Collateral might be a cousin the Colin Farrell's Crockett.
Fantastic piece. Collateral is such a great film and Tom's performance really blew my wig back at the time. That was not the Tom Cruise that I had expected to see. And Farrell is prime dirtbag in MV. Foxx again doing the work well.

While I agree with much of this post, unfortunately I cannot award it a like on account of the author's failure to adequately recognize some of the greatest American music ever composed (the discography of Audioslave).
